A customer has written in to one publication to say that she loves Sketchers Shape Ups trainers.

Reader Rebecca told the Examiner that she was excited that mens styles and sizes are now available, as she is considering buying her boyfriend a pair of the newest trend in fitness accessories.

“Been wearing them for a couple of months and theyve made a huge difference,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, the news providers columnist, Tonya Bernard, said she was also thinking of buying a pair for her husband, as “instead of irritating my bum foot and his bum hip” she feels it would be a better idea to skip the running track and start walking her way to better physical fitness.

Earlier this summer, a footwear analyst predicted that the toning trainers could become a “really big deal”, with the industry making as much as $100 million (£61 million) in retail sales this year.
