Puma explains why its shoes are sustainable
Footwear company Puma has explained the efforts it has taken to make its shoes sustainable in its fifth sustainability report.
The document highlights the ways in which the firm has recently attempted reduce its impact on the environment, such as making progress on reaching its targets of a 25 per cent reduction in energy and water consumption and cooperating with charity organisation Peace One Day to raise awareness for global unity.
Puma chairman and chief executive Jochen Zeitz said that the report is a testament to the fact that the firm[s] do not simply talk about sustainable development – they also take action.
"As we work towards a safer, more peaceful and more creative world, we will continue to expand our outreach as global citizens beyond the boundaries of business, for the benefit of all," he stated.
