While Timberland boots are in for men, Ugg boots are still very much in vogue for women this autumn, according to one news provider.

The Equinoz, the student newspaper of Keene State College, reports that Ugg boots now come in new shades, including plum, terracotta and grey, while styles include argyle, cable knit and metallic versions.

“The trends are already out in September fashion magazines and students are sporting them on campus as well. Purple, turquoise, red and orange are the popular colours this season,” claims the publication.

It adds that belted jackets and leggings are another reoccurring trend as the weather grows colder, with the main theme this autumn involving making a statement with what one is wearing.

Meanwhile, one famous face who was seen out and about in Uggs recently is Coronation Streets Kym Marsh, who wore the footwear while walking in Manchester with co-star Ben Thompson.
