Coronation Street stars Helen Flanagan and Brooke Vincent were among the celebrities out in force at a star-packed Ugg boots party.

Hosted in Manchester to celebrate the opening of the first flagship Ugg store outside London, the showbiz event also attracted a visit from fellow Corrie star Michelle Keegan, who strode down the red carpet in every girls favourite boots.

Coronation Street and ex-Britannia High actor Marcquelle Ward – who rocked up with former co-star Mitch Hewer – was one of several males in attendance, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Ward admitted to choosing a pair to give to his mum as a present, although he could always pop along to the new store on New Cathedral Street, where boots for both men and women will be on sale, to buy a pair for himself.

Meanwhile, it may be a good thing the new outlet did not open in Leeds, as the results of an Adfero street poll suggested that a war between Ugg footwear and pirate boots is currently waging in the city.
