Shoe firm Crocs is committed to charity
Shoe manufacturer Crocs is committed to charity causes, according to one company representative.
Travel retail manager Nico Veenendaal said that the firm is keen to expand the concept of corporate care into the travel retail sector.
His comments follow the footwear suppliers announcement that it will donate two sets of its shoes, clothing and accessories to an international charity in a draw at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes on October 22nd.
The Smile Train is an organisation that provides cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in need and cleft-related training to doctors.
“To a fun brand such as Crocs, a smile is very important. With our prize draw initiative during Cannes, we hope to contribute to many more smiling kids all over the world,” stated Mr Veenendaal.
He added that the brand is delighted to support the charity and that it would be pleased to exhibit at the international event in 2010.
