Crocs: Millions still love our shoes
Millions of people across the world still love Crocs resin shoes, according to the companys chief executive.
John Duerden, who joined the firm in March, told Time magazine that he is confident the shoes are in great demand.
This news comes after it was reported that the company has so far sold 120 million pairs of its footwear this year – mainly to suburban families – across more than 100 countries.
“Its about persuading people to put the shoe on. We need to continue to evolve. And sometimes that might mean looking nothing like a Croc,” stated Mr Duerden by way of explanation for the brands recent move into different styles and materials.
Recently the footwear manufacturer has produced everything from high-heeled shoes with a velvet finish to khaki houndstooth mens loafers.
This news comes after the retailer announced the launch of its new Crocband Collection of Beach and Cayman styles.
