Susannah Constantine – of Trinny and Susannah fame – unwinds by slipping on a pair of comfortable Ugg boots, she has said.

The television fashion advice expert has been known to wear the boots after a hard days work.

She told Times Live how a friend once advised her to make sure she made herself snug by wearing clothes that make her feel at ease and now describes them as her “mother clothes”.

“Early on a friend gave me some advice that has been really useful,” Susannah explained.

“She said, when you get home, take off your work clothes and put on your mother clothes. Its like shedding a skin and, as crazy as it sounds, it really works.”

According to the publication, for the style aficionado this means a pair of Ugg boots, wide-leg sweat pants and a fitted zip-up cashmere top.

Kelly Clarkson is another celebrity who has been sporting the shoes recently. The star of American Idol was seen wearing the boots while out for lunch in New York, accoridng to the Daily Mail.
