Tennis Royal Adidas trainers reissued
Fans of Adidas trainers may be pleased to hear that the manufacturer has reissued one of its 1980s varieties of footwear.
The Tennis Royal shoes, which could be seen both on and off court throughout the decade, are to once again hit the shelves, according to Retro To Go.
With a white leather upper and contrast three-stripe branding, they are typical of the court shoes of the era, the websites states. The sports shoes also have a perforated toe trim, toebox and moulded sole.
“The name gives away its heritage as a tennis shoe, although this early 80s shoe was picked up on the casual scene back in the day too,” it says.
Furthermore the Adidas trainers can be seen in the recent remake of the movie the Firm.
Adidas trainers have been a favourite of celebrities, from David Beckham launching his own range to Blur naming a song after Damon Albarns favourite variety, the Trimm Trabbs.
