On-trend sneaker brand Keds has created a limited edition pink shoe in support of a breast cancer charity.

Keds has launched the shoes to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness month, which takes place every October.

The pale pink, canvas sneakers feature the pink ribbon emblem on the tongue and heel of the shoe.

The design for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) has been named the Pink Champion. One hundred per cent of the money raised from all sales of the shoes will go to the BCRF.

The US-based charity provides funding for innovative clinical and translational research at medical centres around the world. BCRF aims to find a cure for breast cancer while also focusing on the prevention of the disease.

Keds, which has been established since 1916, offers a wide range of canvas shoe styles, ranging from sneakers to sandals and wedges.
