The Queen of Hearts got to meet real royalty recently, as Helena Bonham Carter attended the premiere of Alice in Wonderland in vintage style shoes.

Starring as the temperamental Queen in the film, the eccentric actress, who is the partner of the films director Tim Burton, chose to wear a flowing white dress, completed with accessories relating to her character for the films opening, which was attended by Camilla Parker-Bowles.

A large red heart adorned the side of her dress, while Helena carried a clutch bag bearing a playing card design of her dressed as the Queen from the film.

On her feet, the performer opted to stay away from huge heels or strappy sandals in a pair of low-heeled vintage style shoes.
