Strolls in womens leather shoes can improve brain functions
Taking a stroll three times a week in women's leather shoes can have huge benefits on how the brain connects.
Research carried out on a group of older adults found that simply taking a walk for forty minutes on three different days each week led to improvements in how cognitive tasks were performed.
The study carried out on 65 adults aged 59 to 80 years old by the University of Illinois also found that it was an effective method of combating the decline in brain functions.
Professor Art Kramer, who was behind the investigation, said that there was a noted improvement in "executive control tasks", which include "planning, scheduling, dealing with ambiguity, working memory and multitasking".
Taking a stroll on a crisp autumn day can be made even more enjoyable by heading out in a pair of women's leather shoes, like some of the stylish designs that are on offer from Pavers Comfort.
